Oh Brother look what I made

Well we had a test run today, and I tried out a couple of fancy stitches. I made this fabric basket for my sister Lee, so Lee Lee if you read my blog before I get to you, you will know what your getting. Its a bit saggy on the lining but once you get your bits and pieces in it you wont even notice!

Bit of fancy stitching...

And then as is usually the case with me if I make one then I should really make about 27 of the things. But here is one for Anna's shelves, which will got with the bunting I made. Yaay I love my new machine, who's name will be announced soon...

This is sooo cute!! Is it the Pink Penguin pattern? I made some a little while back and it really is a cute pattern :)

And yes you should do a mini-quilt! I don't blame you though for not wanting to cut into your fabrics - I mean they are so outrageously expensive in NZ. I tell everyone here that quilting in NZ is a rich woman's hobby and when they hear how much fabric is a yard they almost die! I remember buying my fabric there in 10cm pieces as any more was just too expensive!

Yes this is the Pink Penguin pattern (however mine are arent quite as nice and tidy as hers!!) and I realise I really should have given it a mention, which is very bad of me. I need to figure out how to do that really clever link thingy, that everyone seems to able to do, except me.
