In the interest of Happy Blogging

I think I may be coming out of the dark dingy hole of a painful eyeball. I can even manage to enjoy a cup of tea, and a cheese toasted vogels. And aint that what life's all about?

Happy Days people. Happy Days!

Vogels bread - how could you mention that and put my mind into a state of frantic desperation!!! Vogels and Nature's Fresh - miss them desperately!

Anyway, you are looking a little happier than in your last post lol!! I am so glad that you are starting to feel better. Go spend some money on yourself and cheer up. Tell hubby I said it's OK....

You look much happier. Can't even tell which eye was operated on in these latest photos. It's all uphill from here. Is the improvement in your eyesight noticeable?

Sadly I am still blind in that eye. It was a slim chance that I would get anything, as I have a detached retina. They just couldnt see how bad until they removed the cataract. The doctor said its in pretty bad shape so its a permanent thing. I have been dealing with this since I was 16, (and I'm about 89 years old now) so its nothing new, but to say I am over it is an understatement! I cant understand how its taking so long to settle down though, as I hear most people are over it after a day or two. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I havent been much fun lately!!!

Gosh Liz - sorry to hear that. The lack of vision has obviously never slowed you down - it makes everything you do even more impressive.
