or in my case one eye does not have it.
I had the cataract surgery on Tuesday, and although it was a slim chance I thought perhaps I might get something back in my right eye. Unfortunately the retina is in a very bad way, but you know... I am grateful God gave me two eyes....

that sucks:( yes thank god for two eyes my hubby does just fine with one, maybe time to fashion a cool eye patch;)
Hang in there. Unfortunately it takes time to heal. In the meantime, hope you're milking it for all it's worth e.g. "Sorry, I can't make dinner.... Doctor's orders", "Sorry, I can't vacuum....Doctor's orders". If you're really good you could stretch it out well into the New Year ;-)
